My favorite places are home and out in the trees, walking and just enjoying the fresh scent of pine. Also, fishing at a lake or stream with my antiquated fishing gear…(it still works), and while I’m out and about, I enjoy photography. Seriously, I take pictures of just about anything and everything in nature. Now granted some of these are throwaways, but the memories are keepers.

Since I was young I drew pictures and at about 15 years old I started painting pictures using various mediums. I took a few oil painting lessons from a lady in the area and I was off and running. In college I learned more about various mediums from charcoal sketching, pastels, watercolors, oils, acrylics as well as sculpting plaster, painting on rocks and junk art.

I’ve given away and sold my art pieces through the years. I have some favorites and a lot still in my heart to put out there. So many paintings and so little time…

I also have treasured scripture verses to share with you that have encouraged me and some fun sayings, and inspiring sayings that I hope you will enjoy as well.

My hope for this store is for it to be filled with positive, fun, funny, encouraging and beautiful items that will bring a smile to your face and a bit of joy to your life every day.
